A typical herbal consultation involves sitting down with one of our licensed Chinese medicine practitioners in a private, safe setting. Your appointment will last between ten and thirty minutes, at which time your practitioner will ask relevant questions about the reason for your visit as well as learn more about your lifestyle, diet, and medical history.

Chinese medical theory looks at both the ailment and the underlying pattern of disharmony within the body.  It is this understanding that makes Chinese herbs incredibly effective, even in situations in which Western pharmaceuticals are less effective. The customization of formulas also decreases any risk of unwanted side effects.

Urban Herbs offers a full service online pharmacy for practitioners of Chinese Medicine and current students of Chinese herbology.  Practitioners can create a profile that will allow you to use our intuitive and secure interface to create customized herbal formulas.  We offer both granular and bulk quality herbs as well as shelf-stable Classic formulas. 

These formulas will be constructed here at the clinic and then shipped to your desired location- either your office or your patient's home.  All billing information will be securely stored in our system as will previous herbal formulas for easy re-order or modification.
